We’ve made it easy for your to redeem your iTunes code wherever you are so you can relax and watch a film every Thursday.

This handy guide will walk you through the step needed to watch this week's film.

Once you receive your code, you can choose to download your film from iTunes on your iPhone or on your computer.

You're all set. You have 30 days to watch the film, and 48 hours to finish it once you start playing it (in that time you can watch as many times as you like). So find your favourite spot and get watching: on the couch, at the bus stop, in the park. Popcorn optional but recommended.

what kind of Orange customer are you?

Orange Broadband Customer

If you have already registered for Orange Wednesdays then your phone number will be registered for Orange Film To Go, go to step 2.
  1. To Register text JOIN and your unique user name to 85060 (your unique user name is everything after @ in your Orange email address). So for the email address john@smith.orangehome.co.uk, you would text JOIN smith.orangehome.co.uk to 85060.
  2. Your mobile number is now registered and from here you follow the normal steps and text FILMTOGO to 85060.
  3. You will then receive a text with your code to download the current week’s film rental on iTunes. This text will cost 35p.

Orange Mobile Broadband Customer

  1. If you haven't already, load your Orange Mobile Broadband connection software.
  2. Once you're in your SMS centre/connection manager, select the text messaging option and create a new message.
  3. Write 'FILMTOGO' in the body of the message and send the text to 85060.
  4. You will then receive a text with your code to download the current week’s film rental on iTunes. This text will cost 35p. Download your film rental when you are connected to home broadband or WiFi. Downloading your film through 3G will likely incur heavy download charges or use much of your available limit.

Orange iPad or tablet Customer

iPad users who do not have an Orange mobile phone must open the app using a 3G connection. This is the only way we can tell that you’re an Orange customer. You’ll only need to open the app the first time on a 3G connection so don’t worry. However, we would always recommend that you use Wi-Fi to download the film rental so that you don’t get any nasty data charges. If you are having problems it’s probably because you opened the app with Wi-Fi. Simply, uninstall and re-install the app, then start again using a 3G connection.
If you are an Orange tablet customer, simply locate the text function on your tablet and follow the normal steps by texting FILMTOGO to 85060.

How do I get my Orange Film To Go?

When does the film expire?

Once downloaded on iTunes, you’ll have 30 days to watch the film and 48 hours to complete it once you start playing. You may watch it as often as you like in those 48 hours.

How do I find out about the next film?

We’ll let you know about upcoming features through the Orange Film Club website, mobile site and our email reminder which you can sign up to on the homepage. We will also be showcasing each month’s films in the Orange magazine which is available at any of our stores.

Can I choose my own film?

The films are pre-selected by our team of film experts so unfortunately you are not able to choose your own. Orange Film To Go films are a mix of recent iTunes releases and cinema classics, covering a variety of genres, so we’re confident you’ll enjoy our picks.

Does it cost me anything?

It costs 35p to receive each unique code needed to download your film.

What devices can I download my Orange Film To Go on?

Orange Film To Go can be downloaded on an iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, PC or Mac.

Once downloaded, can I watch my film on a different device?

If you download your film on a Mac or PC, you can sync the film rental to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. When downloading to an iPhone or iPad or iPod touch, the rental file will stay on that device. You can also watch your film on your TV by streaming over Wi-Fi with AirPlay from your device to an Apple TV (2nd generation). Or just connect your device to your television using either an HDMI cable or VGA cable.

If I don’t have an iPhone can I still use the offer?

Absolutely. All you need is an iTunes UK account. You can download iTunes for free on your Mac or PC here http://www.apple.com/uk/itunes/download/

How do I create an iTunes account?

When you’ve entered your Orange Film To Go code at orange.co.uk/filmtogo, you will be redirected to iTunes to complete the download. You’ll then be prompted to sign in to your iTunes account. Just select ‘Create Account’ and follow the simple steps.

How long will it take to download my film?

Download times will vary according to internet connection speed. Visit http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1577 to find out more about download speeds from iTunes.

What if my internet connection drops out while the film is downloading?

No problem. On your computer, open up iTunes and choose 'Store' then 'Check for Available Downloads'. You'll just need to sign in to resume your download. For iPhone/iPod touch, tap iTunes from the home screen, tap 'More' then 'Downloads'. For iPad, tap iTunes from the home screen, then tap "Downloads". You'll just need to sign in to resume the download.

Do I need to have an internet connection to watch the film?

No, you just need a Wi-FI or broadband connection to download the film rental on iTunes. Once the film is downloaded, you are free to watch your film when you’re not connected.

Should I use 3G or Wi-Fi to download the movie?

You should use Wi-Fi to download the film.

I don’t have broadband at home, where can I get free Wi-Fi?

The Orange Wi-Fi app will tell you the location for your local hotspots. Download from your app store (data charges may apply).

What happens if I forget to download my film (redeem code) on the Thursday?

You can redeem your code any day but you can only download the film rental on the Thursday.

What happens if I delete the text?

You will need to request your code again. You will then be sent the original code. This request will cost 35p. You have three chances to request your code.

What if I don’t understand how to download the film?

We have a very helpful guide you can view at filmtogo.orange.co.uk/faqs which takes you through step-by-step instructions, from redeeming your code to downloading the film rental.

What do I do if my code doesn't work?

If you can’t find your answers online just call 450 from your Pay As You Go phone or call 150 from your Pay Monthly phone.

How have the films been selected?

Our film experts have selected titles so they appeal to a broad audience. They cover a variety of genres and themes so there’s something for all types of film fans.

How long will this offer last?

This offer will keep running for the foreseeable future and until further notice.

If I use this offer, am I still eligible for Orange Wednesdays?

Most definitely. Orange Film To Go is a separate offer. You can still redeem your Orange Wednesdays code as usual by texting ‘Film’ to 241.

Can I send the film to a friend?

No, your film rental download is exclusive to your iTunes account and cannot be shared or copied.

Can I download previous films?

No, you may only download the current week’s film, and this must be on Thursday.

Having problems redeeming through the app via an iPad?

In order to check that you are an Orange customer you need to open the app using a 3G connection. If you are having problems it’s probably because you opened the app with Wi-Fi. Simply, uninstall and re-install the app, then start again using a 3G connection.
